Before the much-anticipated wedding lunch could begin, it was time for group photos. Of course, Marie & Kay wanted photos of all their guests, but they also made sure to capture some special shots of their closest friends and family members. Fortunately, everyone was in a lively and energetic mood, and I was able to capture some fantastic family and friends group photos. Only once did I need to ask them to wave for the camera - the rest of the time, the dynamics were so wonderful that I just let it unfold naturally.

Some liked to celebrate wildly with their friends and family, setting the roof ablaze. Others stayed within in their closest circle only.

Last year we asked Fabian if he would photograph our wedding in November. After it was only a small celebration thanks to Corona, we really wanted to have a nice memory of our civil wedding - and thanks to Fabian, it was a success!
Fabian not only knows how to capture special moments wonderfully, but also understood how to fit into our small wedding party as if he were an old family friend. We are very sad that he unfortunately had no time at our catch-up wedding party!

WHAT MADE THEIR WEDDING SO SPECIAL FOR ME
For Mara and Matti’s civil ceremony day in late November we had already expected the weather to be rather grey – as winter days normally are in Berlin. But of course it turned out completely different and we were greeted with sound, blue skies and even decent temperatures! It could not have been a better surrounding for their ceremony, in which Corona still played a large part. But how they let me into their lives and home really made me feel comfortable and blend in with their best friends and family!
I enjoyed every moment of that day together with them!
