CROSSING THE ALPS ON THE E5

When I was asked if I would like to join a group that wanted to tackle the E5 from Oberstdorf in Germany to Merano in South Tyrol, I didn't have to think twice. I love challenges - and this one was going to be a very special one.
With a rucksack full of equipment and my camera in my luggage, we set off on the adventurous route over the peaks of the Alps.
As arduous and challenging as the trip was, the experience and pictures in this documentary were well worth it.
Breathtaking views. Snow-covered peaks. Rustic huts and supplies. And above all, a great group of extraordinary characters.
The adventure reportage of my crossing of the Alps was an experience I won't soon forget.

The highlights are great.

But if you want to dive deeper, then this here is just perfect for you.

CROSSING THE ALPS ON THE E5

We set off on the 120km hike in the pouring rain, but fortunately it cleared up shortly after we left Oberstdorf. We then made our way through the gentle valleys of the foothills up the steep slopes to the Kemptner Hütte, where we were greeted by the locals and a fantastic view awaited us in the freezing cold in the evening.
