From the very first time I set foot on the island of leprechauns, lush green meadows and a solid pint of Guiness I felt kind of at home. Not in a literal way, more in a sense of being welcomed, comfortable and wonderfully accomodated.
As rough and cold as the waters around the green island are, as warm and welcoming are it's people. As uncomfortable and challenging the conditions may be, as cozy, warm and inviting are it's pubs and traditions. And on top of all that, the countryside is simply magnificant and extraordinarily diverse.
Whenever I think of Ireland, I get this warm and cozy feeling and it puts a big smile upon my face.
